Master of None series 2 soundtrack A Netflix Original Series Soundtrack - Season Two
Swaying from hardcore and emo for a bit, another one of my favourite records is from the wonderful, beautiful comedy-drama, 'Master of None' (Season 2).
The TV show stars Aziz Ansari who plays a struggling New York actor who is battling with his identity, love and career. The show is incredibly put together, very funny and is very wholesome to watch. The second series is filmed in Italy and that was certainly my favourite thing about the show; the landscapes were beautifully serene and it made me reminisce about previous holidays I have had in similar parts of Italy.
That playful, heartfelt tone is portrayed perfectly in this soundtrack; the album debuts music from Italo Disco Ryan Price (Absolute bop) the fun RainbowTeam, Soft Cell, Will Powers and 70s Disco act, Sylvester. The album is a compilation of fun music that you can dance to- it also sounds amazing on my player! This soundtrack does a perfect job of representing the show perfectly, and is just an amazing collection of songs!
Firstly, watch Master Of None all the way through and then listen to this soundtrack. The actual record is a black, standard, double album which features a collection of posters relating to the show and cute picture of Aziz Ansari on a bike in Italy. This album was a great way for me to relive Master Of None once I had watched it. The record is put together beautifully with a greenery scene of the two characters when you open the album- along with the artistic candid of Aziz in Italy, a wonderful touch.
This record reminds me of why I love collecting them. It's that physical love you can have for something, you can relive a great memory by making it feel somewhat more real.
